When the Family Gets Together
For the first time in at least 7 years, and for the last time in who knows how long, we were able to get all 6 of my siblings together in the same place. Of course, mom insisted on getting a family photo done. So, we all went to the park and took some pictures. Let me introduce you to my family:
Ummm….yeah. This is what happens when the clown of the family says, “Everyone make a funny face.” You’ll notice that most of us have our tongues sticking out. It’s a Chapman thing.
Of course, we started the photo with a discussion of who had to sit where. We decided to go in age order and it took us a minute to get the youngest two to cooperate.
Wow! We really can get a decent picture! So, these are my siblings. Ken, Me, Emily, Jake, Daniel, and Jeff. Jake claims to be allergic to photos and smiling.
We were missing Emily’s husband Cameron, but you add in my husband and the next generation and this is what you get:
That’s right, not a single picture of all of us looking in the same direction, or at least not on my camera. Mom and Dad may have had better luck with one of the other cameras. You probably recognize my kiddos, Malia in the green dress, Constance in the purple dress, and Maxx on my lap. The other 3 kiddos belong to Emily. Corey in the red shirt, Madeline in the pink shirt and Ben is the little one.
We also got pictures of my mom and dad with all their grandkids:
And, on other cameras there are pictures of just the grandkids, just my family, just Em’s family, and all of us together. The people with those pictures better share them with me.

What a beautiful, vibrant family! Love the pics of grandma, grandpa and kids. So sweet.
Great pics!
You are so darn cute.
